Nestled in the vibrant neighborhood of Marathalli, Bangalore, this ground-floor apartment presented a unique opportunity for a complete transformation. The clients dreamed of expanding their living space to create a home that felt open, connected to nature, and meticulously organized. Artivea Studio took on the challenge, reimagining the entire layout to deliver a custom-built 3BHK home that seamlessly blends indoor and outdoor living, complete with a charming courtyard.

The Challenge & Our Architectural Intervention
The core vision was to maximize space and light in a ground-floor unit. Our solution involved significant structural and layout changes, going far beyond a cosmetic update. We strategically extended two bedrooms and, most notably, transformed the living area into a grand double-room space to create a sense of awe and volume. To carve out a dedicated study nook without compromising the open feel, we used a combination of new walls, UPVC frames, and sound-proofed cement board partitions, ensuring a quiet and focused workspace.

A Tour of the Meticulously Crafted Spaces
The Heart of the Home: Extended Living & Dining: The expanded living area now flows effortlessly into a separate dining space, making it perfect for both daily family life and entertaining guests. The double-room size amplifies the sense of space and brings in abundant natural light.
The Kitchen & Functional Zones: We designed a highly functional kitchen with a sleek sliding partition, allowing it to be opened up to the rest of the home or closed off when needed. A compact yet comfortable maid’s restroom was also intelligently integrated, adding to the home’s functionality.
Private Sanctuaries: Bedrooms & Wardrobes: All three bedrooms were customized with built-in wardrobes, providing ample storage and a clean, uncluttered aesthetic. The master suite features a personalized dressing area, designed for both utility and luxury.
The Indoor-Outdoor Connection: Courtyard & Balcony: The jewel of this project is the private courtyard, accessible from the living areas, creating a tranquil green retreat. The sitting balcony offers another intimate space to enjoy Bangalore’s weather, blurring the lines between inside and out.
The Finishing Touches: End-to-End Execution: From the welcoming entrance foyer to the fully equipped study unit, and all the furniture, curtains, and decor, Artivea Studio provided a true turnkey solution. Every element, from the beds to the decor accents, was carefully selected and procured by us, ensuring a cohesive and beautifully finished home.
